Can I be real a second? For just a millisecond? Let my guard down and tell the people how I feel a second? Check it.

So on Facebook, I just saw a post from one of my friends. It was about how bad birth control is. How they don't support it at all. It's fine that they have their own views. But seriously. You don't know everything about everyone. Birth control might be the one of the best ideas for women. It helps them have babies when they want to and are ready to. Many women in the past were not financially or emotionally ready to have children. Now, we can prevent that. Did I say abortion? No. Because birth control solves the issue of abortion. Now excuse me, but this person? They don't believe in abortion either. Neither do I, but... you believe women should be forced into having a baby every time their partner manages to land his seed? Tell that to a married couple sometime, and see how long their sex life lasts. 

You also need to remember the fact that birth control has other uses. It helps regulate periods. It helps horrible periods be not so bad in the future. That's not to say it's perfect. It can cause weight gain. Maybe hormone imbalances. And it doesn't prevent STD's. Only abstinence can do that. But from a medical standpoint, the pros of birth control outweigh the cons.

Please rethink your opinions of women on birth control. They are not sluts, whores, or baby killers. They are also not saints, angels, or perfect. They're human. Just like you.
